C: I really want to order a sushi roll.

Me:…. yes. We have… many.

C: Yes, I was hoping to order a roll that was not wrapped in spinach.

Me: …  Yes? Um…

C: What I really want is a roll wrapped in seaweed.  Not spinach. If you can do that.

Me: Well, most of our rolls are actually wrapped in seaweed.. we don’t have any rolls wrapped in spinach…

C: Oh. Well.  THIS one is. >points to roll wrapped in seaweed, not spinach< This one is wrapped in spinach.

Me: Oh. Um. OK. Well. I can certainly, um, accommodate your non spinach needs.
